How does it work?
How many people are you expecting?
We know that every group is different, but you should plan for 200+ audience to be successful. The table illustrates your revenue based on the size of the audience for your event and considering an admission of $8 per person:
As much as we would love to help small events, our fundraiser program is best suited for groups of 200+. You will need a 200+ audience to make your fundraising event cost effective.
Please note that the $ earned here are solely from tickets sold. There are other options to increase your earnings by a few extra thousands. We will discuss that further at a later point in the presentation.
If you follow our system, you can easily draw a 300+ audience!
Financial Break Down of the Fund-Raiser
Here’s how the financial end of the fundraiser breaks down:
- The first $500.00 (only 63 tickets @ $8.00 each) goes directly to the show.
- If you sell more than 100 tickets then the initial fee goes down to $300. 00 (only 38 tickets @ $8.00 each) unless you sell 201+ tickets which is not difficult to do!
- After those first $500 or $300.00 we split the proceeds 50-50.
- When you reach 400 tickets sold your percentage of those tickets over 400 tickets is 65%.
- When you sell 500 tickets your percentage of those tickets (from 500+) is 75%!
- When you sell 600 tickets your percentage of those tickets (from 600+) is 85%!
- When you sell 700 tickets your percentage of those tickets (from 700+) is 100%! YES, YOU HEAR ME RIGHT! You will get 100% of every ticket sold after 700!
That’s right, the more tickets you sell, the higher the percentage of the profits you keep! Your potential is phenomenal while the risk to you is non-existent!
You can change the Price of the tickets to $6.00 or $ 7.00 and also offer special family packages. You can offer a flat rate of $25 for families up to 5. As an example, a family of 4 or 5 members will only pay $25 instead of $32 or $40. For families larger than 5 members you can charge an additional $3.00 per member. Family members are direct members in the family. Cousins, aunts, or uncles are not considered in this package.

THEN YOU CAN MAKE UP TO $4,200.00 ON TICKETS!!!
Here’s an example to further explain the split at $8.00 per ticket.
- All tickets sold (up to 100) are split at 50% less the initial $500.00.
- However, if you sell 100+ tickets then that initial amount of $500.00 is reduced to $300.00.
- So, if you sell 200 tickets, the gross revenue for tickets sold is $1,600.00.
- Less the initial $300.00, we will have $ 1,300.00.
- So your profit at this point will be 50% of $1,300.00, which is $650.00.
- Sales from 201-400 tickets will give you bonus revenue because we will not take the initial $300.00 off of the top, and your split of the tickets on all tickets above 200 tickets sold is 50%!
- Then the split will grow every 100 tickets sold in 10% increments until you get 100% of the tickets sold once you reach 700+.
As an example, let’s say you sold 600 tickets:
- 400 tickets sold = $3,200.00, 50% of which is $1,600.00 and
- 100 tickets sold (#’s 401-500) = $800.00, 65% of which is $520.00 and
- 100 tickets sold (#’s 501-600) = $800.00, 75% of which is $600.00
By selling 600 tickets to an exciting show, your group can net almost $ 2,720.00!!! AND you’ll have a great time doing it! Plus, we will share more tips on how to increase that number even more!!!
Sell more than 600 tickets and your percentage goes up to 85% on those tickets from 600 to 700. Sell more than 700 and YOUR PERCENTAGE GOES UP TO 100%! SO let’s say you sell 200 more tickets above the 600 listed above – that’s an additional $1,600.00 income of which your group receives $ 1,480.00 totaling $ 4,200.00!
As you can see, the profit potential from this program is excellent. If your group is assertive and aggressive in promoting the show, the tickets will practically sell themselves. If you are aggressive in your efforts to involve the whole community, you will provide an excellent program for your community and funds for your PTO bank account.
You can also change the price of the tickets to $6.00 or $ 7.00 and also offer a special family package where each family pays a flat rate of $25/families up to 5 members. As an example, a family of 4 or 5 members will pay $25 instead of $32 or $40. For families larger than 5 members, you can charge an additional $3.00 per member. Family members are direct members in the family. Cousins, aunts, or uncles are not considered in this package.

Here are the steps (you can print this page and check them as you complete them):
_____ Choose your ticket’s price: You know your school better than we do. Some schools can charge $20/ticket, while other ones can hardly charge $8/ticket. Keep in mind that there are families with 2, 3 and maybe 4 kids that might want to come to the show. Although, you can always create a family-package for larger families.
_____ Submit information: We need the school name, address, date and time of the event.
_____ Get your Flyers: With the information above we will create flyers, tickets and Press Releases ready for you to submit and start the advertisement.
_____ Start advertisement: Submit the Press Releases to the local radio, news, TV to generate publicity for the event.
_____ Promote the show in the school: ask your students to share the information with their parents.
_____ Get the community involved: A successful fundraiser is when all the community gets involved. Not only parents, but also local businesses. You can ask local banks, insurance, real estate, health care, etc. to purchase a booth outside the auditorium to promote their services to the community. You can also get a local pizzeria to donate some pizzas or have one of the other companies to donate the pizzas in exchange of a booth and add mention on the program.
As you already know, you will receive a program template ready to be printed. At the end of the program there is extra space for sponsors. You can get sponsors to donate food or money in exchange of promoting their names. This is especially great for local businesses since they will gain access to hundreds of families. We will provide the program and you recruit the local businesses to buy space. As an example, you can get a local pizzeria to donate 50 pizzas in exchange for the free advertisement. Then you can sell the pizza at $2/slide. If you get 50 pizzas and each has 8 slides, then that would profit an extra $ 800!
_____ Concessions: Sell drinks and snacks to make more money for your group! This is a great way to make an extra $500-$1,000 for your school! Sometimes simple things are better. You can get water and sodas, rent a popcorn machine, snow cones machine, cotton candy machine or similar.
_____ Glow Sticks: kids love to have glow sticks and they are very inexpensive and easy to sell. Once one young kid purchases a stick, everyone wants one, especially once they see how cool they are when the lights dim!
_____ Raffle: You can also add a raffle and we will donate a magic set along with a group magic lesson for 5 kids! You can announce the winner during the intermission or after the show.
SECRETS TO PULL IN LARGE AUDIENCES
Now, we will share one of our most amazing secrets to bring lots of families to the show. In the flyer we will provide, we include the following statement:
“Every young person who attends the show will receive a free magic trick!”
And they will! We will give you a trick for each one of the young people attending! All that they have to do is come to the show and they will receive a trick! This is an amazing technique to bring lots of people in as the word FREE MAGIC TRICK will make it more fun to attend this event!
STAGE SHOW REQUIREMENTS
If you are planning to have the show in space other than an auditorium, I recommend that you…
- Set up the chairs/tables close to the stage area. This will create a room setting which is optimum for the show. Allow at least 9 feet of distance from the stage area to set up the first row. You can even plan for most of the young people to sit on the floor and place chairs behind that area for adults and others who cannot sit on the floor. Check out the photo on page 1 for a sample floor set-up.
- Plan for a riser for the “staging area” that is at least 20 feet long and 12 feet wide.
- Contact us to discuss if the stage will be shared by another performer.
- Plan placement of the stage according to the room shape. For rectangular rooms, place the stage in the middle of the long side of the rectangle. Placement of the stage creates the atmosphere for the best show.
No special lighting is necessary as long as the stage area can be easily viewed with the house lights up. However, if it is a dark room, a general stage wash-light is suggested.
- The show can also be performed outside if weather permits, as long as there is an outlet close to the staging area. If not, please let me know in with a month in advance.
- If possible, please arrange for a parking spot next to the venue to unload/load my equipment.
- A backstage is ideal for a most magical introduction.
